On October 12-14 the FIRES-consortium met in Utrecht for a successful and productive consortium meeting. The program started on Wednesday 12th with the executive board meeting, followed by intense internal discussions on policy and reform ideas for Europe’s financial sector, knowledge institutions and labor markets on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday. These ideas were collected in three posters that were presented at a stakeholder event and public event on Friday in which the results of our brainstorming were discussed. We have sown some wild ideas and harvested the beginnings of an ambitious and effective reform agenda that has gained broad support in the stakeholder groups that will be most affected.
In the course of the next weeks we will publish more details on the event and make the posters as well as the slides of the keynotes and a report on the concluding panel discussion available through our website and newsletter. Sign up for more in the FIRES newsletter below!
